More Information on Joey Morgan's Talk Photoshop for Non-Designers or How to Make (almost) Any Image Look Better in three (or four) Extremely Simple Steps
Within my own idiosyncratic and highly opinionated process, Photoshop has seven
really big concepts. When you really get
those concepts, you start using the program the same way you drive a car
right and left brain synapses firing at the same time.
Consider also that there are six ways to do any photoshop task: one is simply
a bad choice; two are basic and not particularly refined; two others work well;
and one that for that particular image and usage is stellar.
We'll identify a couple of the major concepts, go back to the original
exercise (the simple step by step) and refine the file. To end the hour we'll
convert a color image to grayscale in at least half a dozen ways, (i.e., from
the truly ridiculous to the sublime). More information on Tina DuBosque's Talk
